Flow - we're inspired by many different influences of yoga from different styles, teachers and schools. the flow class is a great workout, along with brilliant stretching, incorporating breath work and an incredible sense of relaxation and calm to the mind. please note a good base knowledge of yoga asanas (poses) and moderate fitness ability for the body will help for the flow classes.
Gentle Flow - for the newer body to yoga looking for the workout aspect but on a more broken down modified level to gently introduce the body/practitioner to the flow practice. Great for a step up from Chill.
Chill - moving slowly and gently for the much older body, slower body, ailing body, injured body, healing body and 'newbie' body in mind...we will work through some great accessible stretches with the help of yoga props which help work with our tight shoulders, bothersome knees and unhappy lower backs to assist in the various yoga moves that you will work through...our practice is designed to wake up muscles, lubricate the joints, create strength in the bones & circulate and mindfully/slowly invigorate the vascular and cardiac systems. creating positional movement of the body, helps release tight muscles and brings much relief from pain. also, creating a great mind-set with the intention of a calm, clear, alert and peaceful mind ready to take on the day or head to bed - with a body that feels more at ease and a mind that feels totally connected. THIS CLASS IS BRILLIANT FOR BEGINNERS AND THOSE LOOKING TO GO SLOWLY, GENTLY AND CREATING A REALLY TRANQUIL PRACTICE.
Restorative Chill - yoga poses held for long moments of time with the use of pillows, blankets and gentle props…time to sink, relax and let go whilst supported and propped, cushioned and held. this is a super relaxing class with little movement and more stillness and meditation.
Chair Yoga - is a wonderful way to enjoy a yoga practice from the comfort of your chair. this class is especially great for you if you have trouble making your way down to the floor/mat level, are dealing with diseases like parkinson or multiple sclerosis. you will find relief from arthritic pain and senior health issues with this paced class. if you drive or sit for long periods of the day, our stretches will alleviate the stresses from that position and give you techniques to use throughout the day. a perfect class if you have very little energy and need a slow gentle pace.
